Acrylic Painting - All Abilities

The course will establish acrylic painting methods through the use of sketchbook, photographs, found images and direct observation. You will learn to distinguish the use of tone, colour, composition and perspective Learners will gain confidence in using acrylic materials and reviewing their work through group discussion and one to one support. The overall aim is to achieve personal expression and develop a range of techniques and methods of working with this versatile medium

Entry requirements

Bring whatever acrylic painting materials you may already have purchased or a pad of A3 cartridge paper, Soft grade of pencils (4B or 6B), soft rubber and a graphite stick for the first session.Materials and resources you will need through the course will be discussed at induction.
