Exploring Art (LDD)

During this course learners will have the opportunity to work towards a national qualification designed to recognise progress towards independence and support learners develop the knowledge they need to overcome barriers due to learning difficulties or disabilities. The course will include: - Practice using a variety of art techniques needed to produce a piece of art - Use tools and equipment in a safe manner - Research, prepare and complete personal and group art project(s) - Practice how to tidy up, safely clean and store equipment - Displaying or exhibiting an art product - Apply ICT, number, communication, reading and writing skills to projects and displays. - Improve confidence and social skills through participation in group discussions and activities.
