Drawing & Painting - Landscape Still Life & Abstract

The course will establish a range of basic methods of drawing & painting through the use of sketchbook, photographs, found images or direct observation. You will learn to distinguish the use of tone, colour, composition and perspective in a range of subjects including still life, landscape and abstract. The emphasis will be on self discovery and independent learning. You will gain confidence in using both drawing and painting materials and be encouraged to take part in group discussionsHave access to one to one support The overall aim is to help you develop personal expression through a mixture of practice, discussion and demonstration techniques.

Please bring whatever drawing & painting materials you may already have purchased, or a pad of A3 cartridge paper, soft grade of pencils (HB, 2B, 4B), soft rubber and sharpener for the first session.
