The course will establish a few basic methods of painting through the use of sketchbook, photographs, found images. You will learn to mix a colour wheel and also explore and understand how to use complimentary and harmonic colourPractice these skills in completing a simple landscape painting using the 3 primary coloursYou will gain some confidence in using painting materials and review work through a group discussion and one to one support. The overall aim is to help you develop techniques and methods on how to mix colour and to encourage you to join a longer course in order to develop further. This could be used as an addition to another longer painting course.
