Introductory Diploma to the Travel & Tourism industry

This course will help to develop learners' confidence, giving them a  good understanding of the travel and tourism sector and the work skills needed to succeed in the fast changing retail environment. You will go on a number of visits to travel and tourism businesses and other establishments that will give you insights into the industry. You will also undertake work experience and lots of practical activities. Learners will also develop their maths and English skills, which will support their main programme and help their future progression.

Entry requirements

All learners within the area are required to wear the standard uniform. You will be able to order the uniform during enrolment. The cost is approximately £125.00 which includes a jacket, skirt for ladies and trousers for men, a shirt and either a tie or scarf.  You may be able to get financial support towards the cost of the uniform.  There will also be a nominal charge for trips and visits.
