The course is suitable if you are working or volunteering in roles that support pupils' learning, including teaching assistants, learning support assistants and special needs assistants. You can choose from a Certificate at Level 2, Diploma at Level 3 or an Apprenticeship Pathway. Your entry point will depend on your current qualifications, experiences and your role in a school. If you have already achieved your Level 2 - or have gained six months or more experience in a supporting role in a school - our Advanced Diploma may be the right course for you. You will develop further knowledge and skills to support teaching and learning in schools effectively and to be able to act on your own initiative.
