The Sports Therapy, Health and Wellbeing study programme combines a technical level qualification - in the form of a sports massage diploma - with a Diploma in Sports Science and Advanced Research. It is delivered over two years and aims to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills needed for a career as a sports massage therapist, either employed or self-employed. It also provides learners with UCAS points to study at a higher level. Year 1 is delivered at the Joseph Wright Centre, Year 2 is split between the Joseph Wright and Ilkeston campuses.
