International Certified Masters Groomers - September

International Professional Groomers have launched this revolutionary new qualification for the pet grooming professional. The course is ideal if you want to commence working in the dog grooming industry and are keen to learn the skills you need to work under supervision in a dog grooming salon. The course is run within the commercial salon at the College.

Name: International Certified Masters Groomers - September Qualification title: Non regulated provision, Level 2, Agriculture Qualification type: Assessment Formal assessments take place at the end of the course and are in the form of one written exam and one practical exam for the Salon Details certification. There may be an opportunity, if you wish, to have a demonstration day prior to your exam for extra preparation.  There will be a fee for this - the amount is to be confirmed. Entry requirements

Learners must wear the Derby College salon uniform, for which you should pay at enrolment.  You are also required to purchase your own scissor set which is ordered by the College at the cost of approximately £123: this is also payable on enrolment. You should wear sensible footwear and trousers/jeans. The College will provide grooming equipment to be used whilst you are on the course.
