Watercolours Mixed Ability II

On this course you will continue to develop your skills in watercolour painting. As well as recapping briefly on the basics, you will look at a range of subject matter and you will be encouraged to try out different techniques to achieve specific effects. The tutor will provide exercises and resource material to practice and work from. You will also be encouraged to bring in source material of your own to develop your own style through experimentation and then produce a final painting for peer critique. You will continue to study the work of well-known artists for inspiration. You will learn: How to extend your usage of specific effects such as wet on wet, wet on dry, use of masking fluid, sponging and spattering Colour mixing.
