The aim of this course is to introduce the functions of a digital camera and some concepts of photography. Please note that functions in an automatic camera will be very limited in comparison to a bridge camera or an SLR camera. Some of the topics that will be covered during the course include: Basic functions Understanding exposure, aperture and depth of field What makes a photograph Uploading and saving photos to the computer The topics listed above are only a selection of the topics that will be covered in the course. Other topics at beginners level may be covered depending on the needs of the group.
