To gain the qualification learners will need to achieve 30 credits with 24 credits coming from the mandatory units. They will then need to achieve a minimum of 3 credits from optional units in Group A and 3 credits from optional units in Group B. This qualification includes four mandatory units from the Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools and the Level 2 Certificate in Supporting the Wider Curriculum in Schools. This enables credits and learning to be transferred from one qualification to another.
