Whatever the material - be it metal, plastic, ceramic, composite or a combination of dissimilar materials, a Welding and Fabrication engineer will be familiar with the various processes needed to use the material in Manufacture including: Welding Brazing Soldering Bonding Surfacing Whether the difficulty is process selection, inspection, integrity or corrosion, the Fabrication and Welding engineer will be able to get to the heart of any problem and recommend solutions. The City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Welding and Fabrication 2850 is a unitised programme of study that is mainly practical-based with a high level of workshop time. Classroom activity is all directly related to the practical aspects of the course and structured to support what is taking place in the practical lessons.
