The Level 3 BTEC in Creative Media Production is a rigorous specialist vocational programme, with a strong work related emphasis. It offers practical units combined with an extensive range of teaching and learning methods that enhance the learners’ self confidence. A range of disciplines are taught on the course in order to maximise learners’ skills base and improve employability. This course offers an opportunity to gain some of the necessary skills required to work in the media industry. You will use professional software packages such as Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Office and Photoshop. Learn by doing work based projects where you are required to research, plan and present a ‘live’ project. On the course you will study subjects such as ‘Studio Photography’, ‘Single Camera Techniques’ and ‘Speech Package’ to improve your knowledge and professionalism in Radio, Television, Photography and Journalism. The course is made up of 10 units. Other units are chosen from a range to suit the needs of the learners.
