Subject Contents/Topics to be covered: Grammar: Introduction to the future tense. Introduction to the Imperfect tense. Revision and further consolidation of the perfect tense, viewing usage with the imperfect tense. Introduction to the pluperfect. Use of DEPUIS and the present tense. Use of QUI, QUE and DON'T. By the end of the course you should be able to: Talk about yourself and others. Talk with more confidence about past events. Exchange personal news. Describe homes and surroundings. Talk about what you used to do (describe the way things used to be in the past). Discuss everyday life, hobbies and jobs. Discuss plans for the future. Make social arrangements.
