Textiles - Christmas Decorations

Craft festive Christmas tree decorations using traditional embroidery stitches on felt. Learners will have the opportunity to learn a selection of hand stitches including running stitch back stitch chevron stitch and French knots. Learners will use those stitches to make attractive hanging felt decorations for the festive season such as Christmas trees stars and candy canes. Each learner will complete at least one decoration with the opportunity to work on different shapes and decorative styles.
