UPDATED 20150723 16:25:46

The Beginners 2 course is suitable for those who have very basic knowledge of Latin (e.g. completed Beginners 1 course) who wish to consolidate and extend their previous learning. We will discuss the Roman conquest of different areas of Britain and its legacy as well as aspects of social life in Roman Britain. You will be able to identify English words which derive from Latin and discuss their usage and translate basic Latin sentences into English. All of our language courses offer opportunities for progression and you will have the option to enrol on a term-by-term basis.
