The 'Travel and Tourism' Level 1 course is aimed at 16-18 year olds, with an interest in a career in the travel and/or tourism industries. The course will cover all aspects of working in this sector, learners will gain the employability and customer service skills, required for working within a wide ranging variety of job roles, from jobs at the East Midlands Airport to jobs in Travel agents and Holiday representatives . The course aims to build the confidence of the learners involved, to apply for job opportunities with the exciting travel and tourism sectors. The course is free and will lead to a Level 1 qualification. The programme includes qualifications in Functional skills and also Employability and Personal Development.
