An A Level in ICT is a combination of exam and coursework. Students who take A Level ICT will study four Units; Information Systems, Presenting Information, Use and Impact of ICT and Relational Databases. Through this course you will develop the capacity for thinking creatively, innovatively, analytically, logically and critically. You will also be able to apply skills, knowledge and understanding of ICT in a range of contexts to solve problems and gain an understanding of the consequences of using ICT on individuals, organisations and society, as well as social, legal, ethical and other considerations on the use of ICT. It is also important that you develop an awareness of emerging technologies and an appreciation of the potential impact these may have on individuals, organisations and society
