This course is designed for students from any dance background who wish to have a well-rounded and in depth study of dance, with outstanding teaching and learning.If you have a love of performance, choreography and embodying theory into practical dance, then this course is for you! This course is not just about developing your technical and performance skills, but within this option you will study the foundation skills needed to become a professional dance practitioner as well as preparing you for degree level and the world of work.The course will encourage you to work both collaboratively and independently on solo and group work to nurture creativity. You will also be expected to engage with professional choreographers through dance workshops, attending technique classes and dance trips around the country to extend your understanding and experience the current world of dance.
