Name: Drawing and Painting: Intermediate to Advanced Qualification title: Non regulated Community Learning provision, Crafts, Creative Arts and Design Qualification type: Assessment Advanced discussion, ideas and application, of drawing & painting methods. Through observation, and adaptation, of a variety of styles and techniques. Through engaging with information from various resources (exhibitions, on-line and book research, still life objects and life model) you will be encouraged to respond individually, helped by the comparative study of the work of different artists and movements. Working in a range of media of your choice. At this stage of your development you will be expected to be creating compositions of your own selection, along side the wide variety of demonstrations offered. Entry requirements

A2 paper and acrylic paint, pencils and brushes, masking tape, clips. You are welcome to bring along other media of your choice also. Oil paint, acrylic paint, oil pastels, watercolours, and a selection of papers. Materials may cost approximately £20 over the year. There is an art shop on site with a selection on materials (although opening hours may not always coincide with your class). Please check at the centre office for opening times and days.
