Create arrangements and develop the use of suitable flowers and foliage required for a basket, round posy, a line arrangement and hand tied bouquet. Flowers to be purchased by students at a cost of £20 per day. Please see the materials list on the course outline.

Please bring scissors, a note book and pen and an apron if required. For the hand-tied bouquet you will need: Mixed flowers and foliage's to the value of around £20, florists cellophane, sellotape, one roll of florist ribbon, two sheets of tissue paper. For the basket arrangement you will need: Mixed flowers and foliage's to the value of £20, basket with or without handle, block of floral foam (wet foam for fresh flowers) pot / oasis tape. Example of flowers: carnations, chrysanthemums, spray carnations, roses, gerberas, alstromeria. Foliage: eucalyptus, leather leaf, pitasporum, ruscus Please note you may reuse you flowers from the previous design if you are happy to take it apart. Please bring enough flowers in-case of any damage. All items are available from florists, Hobbycraft, Amazon, E-bay and on-line florist wholesalers.
