Thinking about starting your own business, have a love of creating flower arrangements for special occasions or just enjoy flowers as a hobby? Easy step by step instructions and demonstrations will help you to produce simple floral table arrangements and a variety of displays. Flowers to be purchased weekly by students at a cost of £10 - £20. Please see the materials list on the course outline.

Arranging flowers in a vase: - A medium sized vase with a wide top and base - Selection of foliage - Selection of flowers Scissors - Table cover - Notebook and pen - Decorative pebbles, glass pebbles, coloured gravel (optional). The learner is required to provide their own scissors, flowers, oasis and container for each lesson. Accessories may be a requirement in some lessons. Hobby Craft and some garden centres carry a range of floristry sundries and accessories. Tutor will supply some sundries at cost. The cost of materials will vary according to the item being made, but will be approximately £10.00 - £20.00 per week. It is recommended that flowers are generally purchased from supermarkets and market stalls, specialist flowers can be bought from florists.
