Aromatherapy &Massage: Introduction

An Introduction to Aromatherapy. Learn the beneficial health properties of 10 essential oils and how to use them. You will be taught how to safely blend the essential oils with a carrier oil and use the resulting synergy in a basic relaxing body massage. Other uses will also be explored.

Entry requirements

Students are asked to bring 2 bath sheets each to class. A file in which to keep hand outs and class notes. Pen, pencil, eraser. Hair should be styled off the face and shoulders and a short sleeved T-shirt worn to practice massage. A small flip top hard- plastic bottle for the mixed oil. (can be obtained from tutor). Study Books: ' Introduction To Aromatherapy' by Louise Tucker 'Introduction To Anatomy & Physiology' by Louise Tucker 2 Bath Sheets ( they don't have to be matching colours for this introduction) There will be an additional £50 consumable fee to pay.
