Summer Walk: Battle Boats and Buildings at Chiswick

To meet at 1300 outside Ravenscroft Park tube Station. Please note: Travelling costs are not included in the course fee. Some walks may be unsuitable for the less mobile. Course Description: The walks starts by making our way to the picturesque riverside and walking along the Thames which is lined with some grand houses one having been the home of William Morris who was an artist and designer. On to what was the country refuge home of another English artist William Hogarth. We pass by the medieval Church with its interesting connections and into t he graveyard where Hogarth is buried. We see the pretty nearby houses one of which was formerly a pub.
