ICT Systems Support - City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma

This one-year course is designed to enable you to develop and expand your knowledge of ICT skills. It will provide flexibility for students who, at the end of the course, may wish to continue studying or take up employment in ICT. It is suitable for students who enjoy the practical element of computing and includes the development of hardware and networking skills using a well equipped dedicated hardware workshop. In addition, software skills will be developed using industry standard packages for graphics and web design using the Adobe CS4 Suite packages (Photoshop, Dreamweaver and In-design). The role of customer and service centre support will be explored and developed to enable students to learn how to solve problems and create solutions for ICT users. The course consists of 2 separate qualifications: 1) Diploma in ICT Systems Support (Level 2) 2) Certificate for IT Users (Level 2)
