The Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art & Design is a one year pre degree programme in Art and Design that has three stages of development. The first stage explores a wide range of art and design subjects, whilst developing drawing skills and a greater sense of independence and creativity. The second stage guides learners into their desired pathway whilst it extends, refines and develops skills within a specialist subject area. The final stage of the course confirms learners creative ability by carrying out a final major project that determines the final grade achieved. In conjunction with the diploma, a College qualification in life drawing complements the development of learners' drawing skills.
