This one year course is an extension to the diploma and is designed to provide a specialist work-related qualification in the Travel and Tourism industry and to prepare learners for employment or progression into Higher Education. The Level 3 Diploma is equivalent to 2 A Levels. Upgrading to the Extended Diploma would increase the qualification to the equivalent of 3 A Levels. There is an expectation that you will participate in placement and/or voluntary work experience during the course. There is also the opportunity to achieve additional studies in Maths, English, Psychology and GCSE/A Level.
