This course will introduce the learner to the subject of digital enhancements and creative effects that can be applied to images using Adobe Photoshop Elements 7. The course will be based on the use of Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 using PC computers. This course will introduce the leaner to the many hidden features and menus of this creative programme. Although there are no formal requirements needed to undertake this course, basic computer skills would be an advantage (opening and closing applications, saving, printing, using drop down menus, creating new folders, navigating the Internet). Course Content and Learning Outcomes This is a practical course and each week consists of demonstrations and tasks covering: • Introduction to Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 editing menu • Creating selections • Removing a person from an image and transferring to another image • Adjustments to improve your images • Creating an interactive book effect from your images • Use of repair tools to remove blemishes • Creating fun composition images • Use of layers and how they work • Editing of images taken by learners • Create a video presentation of your images with music
