This Counselling Studies Certificate CPCAB Level 3 (CST-3) course in Ashford will build on the practical skills and knowledge gained on the Counselling Skills Certificate CPCAB Level 2 (CSK-2) course. The Counselling Studies course will cover: The professional framework, The counselling relationship, Understanding diversity, Use of supervision, Client/counsellor contracts, Development of personal awareness, Understanding the counselling process. Successful completion of the course will mean that you will be able to: Understand and use the main theoretical approaches to counselling during practice. - State the ethical, legal and procedural framework in which a counselling agency operates within assessments and during practice. - Demonstrate and understand the nature and constraints of the counsellor's role within different settings. - Describe and demonstrate during practice how difference and diversity can affect counselling relationships. 24+ student loans are available on this course. However, there will be a separate fee to pay direct to Kent Adult Education. This course is for applicants who want to take the next step in training to become a counsellor. You will learn more about counselling theory and agency work. You will need to have successfully completed the Counselling Skills Certificate CPCAB Level 2 (CSK-2) course or equivalent units/qualifications of at least 75 guided learning hours. To be successful in all aspects of this course, it is recommended that you don't enrol if you have undergone a life-changing experience during the last 12 months. The Programme Manager and tutor will interview you to ensure your suitability for the course and will give you information about the course and what it will involve.
