A Day of Drawing and Painting Insects

This course is a good introduction into the skills and techniques of painting insects. Students will learn about various artists and influences. Students will be able to: Use paint and understand how it behaves, Demonstrate blending and application of the medium. Produce a range of sketches, Complete paintings using the above techniques. Have an awareness of Health and Safety guidlines, Beginners, absolute beginners and those with experience.

If possible please bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper and a variety of pencils. If you have a set of paint brushes please bring them along, paint and paper will be provided for you.
