This 'Sewing Bee - Make a 'Vintage-style' Cushion' class in Sittingbourne will enable students to make and decorate a beautiful 'vintage-style' cushion and then take it home at the end of the day!, By the end of the course you should be able to: Use skills and techniques relevant to all the making processes at the appropriate level, Successfully review and evaluate your own work at the appropriate level, Be aware of and work to relevant Health and Safety guidelines, You will cover all you need to know on the course, there is no additional work outside of course hours. This course is suitable for absolute beginners and those with some prior experience. It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another person, please ask to speak with the Programme Manager.

All relevant materials will be provided for you, however, if you want to bring some of your own material to further personalise your design then please do so. **Please Note: Some sewing machines are provided but if you wish to use your own sewing machine in the class then please do, but remember to bring a copy of the manual and ensure it has been recently serviced.
