We will gently guide you through all the basic positions, give you a demonstration of good posture, and graceful moment, and tone and strengthen leg and stomach muscles in the process, while increasing your flexibility. Ballet dancing is a fabulous exercise, and increases core strength. The course will include: Barre exercises and stretches: learning each exercise name and meaning; Learning footwork combinations, Understanding posture and an awareness of your body in space, Developing basic co-ordination: of arms / feet / head, and throughout your course you will be given constructive feedback, and please feel free to ask any questions you have to our tutor. This course is perfect for those with little or no ballet experience (or those with only distant memories of taking classes at school) or if you have always wanted to try Ballet dancing generally!
