A one day course in drawing the human form. The course will introduce the drawing concepts of scale, proportion and modelling of form. You will be able to try a range of drawing media, e.g. pencil, charcoal, ink, and consider the formal elements of line and tone in your work. The model will be posed nude. By the end of this course you should be able to: Make studies of the human body using basic drawing techniques. Produce life studies that demonstrate a basic awareness of scale and proportion. Experiment with different drawing materials to extend your range of options. Work to health and safety guidelines. Beginners and those with some experience of drawing from the life model. It is important to note that art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
