Our kettlebell classes are open to anyone who would like to improve their fitness and health and enjoys group exercise classes. This course is a mixed ability class; suitable for beginners, more experienced and advanced students. This is a medium to high impact cardiovascular and body toning class, using weighted kettle bells to tone and sculpt your body and includes standing and floor based strength and flexibility exercises. You will need to be able to follow verbal instructions, observe and copy physical movements and use spatial awareness within a group. By the end of this course you should be able to: - Use kettle bells safely, - Perform muscle, strength and endurance exercises, - Locate muscle groups, - Practise cardiovascular moves, - Exercise independently with minimal guidance, - Identify specific exercises for personal use outside of the class. - Recount at least three ways in which exercises can benefit health and wellbeing throughout various life stages. This Kettlercise course is aimed at anyone interested in exercise, keep fit and maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle.

Entry requirements

Please read the following information carefully. You may be advised not to take part if you are not dressed appropriately. You will need supportive, comfortable clothing that allows ease of movement. Denim jeans, formal trousers, shorts, skirts or dresses are not suitable for this activity. Sports trainers are needed to support the feet and ankles. Outdoor sandals, shoes or boots are not appropriate for this class. Students may wish to bring a mat or a towel to complete the floor-based exercises.
