The short Art course will introduce you to basic printing tecniques using objects and other simple printing techniques into fabric. You will find out what inks and paints are the best to use on fabric and experiment to find out how they can be used to best advantage. You do not need to have a background in Textiles to enjoy printing shapes and patterns on to coloured and patterned fabrics. The tutor will encourage you try out different ways to print and suggest ways your samples can be developed further with stitch and applique after the course. Any students interested in being creative to produce work they can share with their friends.
