German Beginners - Summer School

Have you always wanted to learn German? Do you want to be able to speak German at the basic level when you visit Germany? Then this is the course for you. This 10 week German Beginners Summer School course in Ashford will teach you how to exchange information in simple everyday situations. By the end of the course successful students will be able to: * give and receive personal information, * tell the time and use numbers, * order and pay for food and drink in a restaurant or cafe, * ask for and use directions, * make travel arrangements, * ask for repetition and check meaning ie. at the tourist office, Basic German grammar will be taught and students will also gain an insight into the culture. You will be given small amounts of homework each week (max 1hr) to reinforce classroom learning. This course in Ashford is for students who have attended a Beginners course or who have studied the language for approximately 40 hours, If you are unsure carry out our self-assessment test available on www.kentadulteducation.co.uk or speak to a Programme Manager.
