Revive and Restore your Old Photographs

This course is aimed at students with little or no experience with Photoshop or Photoshop Elements and is designed to give you the skills to digitise and restore old prints to their former quality. You will need to bring a selection of prints throughout the course for restoration (up to 20) as well as a USB flash drive in order for you to save and keep copies of your new images for printing later. By the end of the course students should be able to: Scan images into Photoshop Elements, Open files in Photoshop, Crop Images and resize/resample them, Use tools and learn techniques to restore images including cloning, spot healing, dealing with breaks or tears in images, saturating and desaturating images and converting images from colour or sepia o black and white. Prepare images for printing, There is no 'homework' for this course, but you are welcome to continue with your work at home to practise what you have learned. There is no qualification for this course. For those with a little experience of using a computer who would like learn how to restore their old photographs.
