UPDATED 20150720 10:52:48

This 30 week Sign Language - Preparing for Level 2 course in Tunbridge Wells will bridge the significant gap between Signature Level 1 and Level 2 British Sign Language courses. If you have already studied some BSL and wish to increase your knowledge and skill in signing then this course is for you. It will also help you to prepare for the Level 2 Certificate in BSL course. By the end of the course successful students will be able to: converse in BSL using body language, facial expression, lip pattern, eye gaze, correct handshapes, converse in BSL with increased use of enumeration, time zones, classifiers, directional verbs and multi-channel signs, identify different signed communication systems, equipment and services available to assist people who are deaf or hard of hearing. There is no end of course examination but to gain maximum benefit some practice between lessons each week is recommended. Anyone who has studied British Sign Language for at least one year and wishes to gain more confidence and fluency in signing and learn more advanced features of the language. Also for those preparing to attend the Level 2 BSL course in the future.
