Sewing Bee - Christmas Craft

Make your own handmade gifts and decorations ready for Christmas. Choose from a selection of beautiful seasonal fabrics and trimmings to make Toy Sacks, Christmas Stockings, Advent calendars, Christmas bunting or Tree decorations. By the end of the course you should be able to :- Be aware of and work to relevant Health and Safety guidelines. Thread up and use a variety of stitches on a sewing machine. Make and press an open seam. Stitch on a button by hand. Make a button hole. It may be necessary for you to do some work at home e.g. 1-2 hours per week. Absolute beginners to experienced sewers who want to give Christmas a handmade touch this year. You will be able to work at a level that suits you.
