A one day course that introduces some basic techniques and processes of clay construction, including hand building (coiling, slabbing), throwing on the wheel and surface decoration. By the end of this course you should be able to: Use simple hand-building techniques to produce basic ceramic forms. Use a range of basic ceramic decoration techniques. Work to relevant Health and Safety guidelines. There is no homework requirement for this course. Beginners. It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
