Students on this course will be taught proven techniques to both avoid and neutralise, Physical attacks. This is a very practical course which will provide you with increased, Self-confidence and awareness. Strategies taught on this course: The law and how it affects you in a physical attack, Using your surroundings to make you safe, Tried and tested techniques for releasing from holds and grabs, Basic strikes, Ways to get help and alert people, Solutions based on real life scenarios, This course is for anyone wanting to build self-confidence and reduce feelings of vulnerability. Instruction is delivered in plain English at a basic level with easy to learn techniques. Anyone, With little or no experience can attend this course and see quick results.

Entry requirements

You will need supportive, comfortable clothing that allows ease of movement. Denim jeans, formal trousers, skirts or dress are not suitable for this activity. Yoga is generally practiced in bare feet or socks and all movements are performed on a mat. You may be advised not to take part if you are not dressed appropriately. Students may wish to bring a towel. Please bring water and avoid eating one and a half hours prior to exercising.
