Creative Writing - Further your Skills

Do you want to explore and develop a range of creative writing techniques? Then this Creative Writing - Further Your Skills in Canterbury is for you. You will build on your existing skills and produce short stories, articles and poetry, perhaps using your own life as a resource. This course follows on from Kimberley's spring term course, so different techniques will be explored and techniques already learned will be practised and developed. By the end of the course students should be able to :- complete weekly exercises and use these exercises to develop personal writing projects, contribute to class discussions and give and receive constructive comment on their own and other student's work. Students who have completed the Creative Writing Beginners course or anyone with some experience of creative writing or with a wide experience of reading. You will need reasonable familiarity with written and spoken English language. Students will need to: Understand the potential benefit from the programme of study. Read and interpret tasks. Communicate responses that are clear, logical and understandable. Manage their own time.
