Flower Arranging - Vintage Flowers

UPDATED 20150720 10:30:52

We will start at the very beginning, taking small steps each week, building up confidence and understanding on the subject. Each week you will be advised about what to bring for the following week. Our main focus will be on contemporary rather than traditional styles, all easily accomplished by the student. .By the end of the course you should be able to: - create a variety of differing styles of floral arrangements using fresh flowers and foliage, - confidently apply floristry techniques to an appropriate level, - understand the care and conditioning needs of a variety of plant material, - show a knowledge and understanding about seasonal plant material, - demonstrate an awareness of basic design and colour theory, Homework is not a requirement of the course, but you will need to source flowers for your class each week. This course is perfect for those who are complete novices with an interest in the subject and students who need a refresher on the subject.
