This 'Introduction to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)' course in Maidstone will introduce students to the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy talking therapy. CBT is a therapy that can help people to manage their problems by changing the way they think and behave. CBT has been shown to be particularly helpful with dealing with problems such as depression, anxiety and eating disorders. This introductory course will enable students to learn some basic CBT techniques and put these into practice, so that students can learn to deal with their problems in a more positive way. **Please Note: This course will not remove students' problems, but will help students to deal with problems more positively. This course should not be taken in the place of personal counselling.** This course is for anyone who would like to improve their management of day-to-day life problems. If you have a disability and think it may affect your learning in the classroom or in using any of our other services, please speak to us in confidence as soon as possible. We will discuss options with you and do our best to provide the appropriate support.
