Floristry - Spring Arrangements

The course focuses on the basics of flower arranging with a springtime theme including using bare and budding branches and stems, planted bulbs and seasonal flowers. You will be taught a variety of techniques and be given time to pratcise what is learnt using flowers and foliage in the classroom. You will look at modern designs and how these have changed with time. By the end of the course students will be able to: Choose, cut and condition flowers and foliage;, Soak, prepare and use floral foam;, Apply techniques to ensure flowers last longer;, Create a floral arrangement based on inspirational modern ideas. Suitable for those with some experience of flower arranging but beginners are also welcome.
