Drawing and Painting - Improvers

This course is for anyone wishing to do art in a friendly but serious environment. Supportive one-to-one tutorial teaching ensures that each student's individual requirements are catered for, while extensive demonstrations of a whole range of media and techniques provide students with both technical knowledge and inspiration. This course includes five sessions with a life model and two or more sessions of landscape painting. Students who have completed the Beginners course or have some experience.It is important to note that art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity for you to participate fully and get the most out of the course.

Entry requirements

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. However, all students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, preferably with a hard cover and ring bound and a variety of pencils.You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. If you have any materials/equipment that might be appropriate please bring them with you.
