Literature - Discussion Group

The theme of this course in Ashford is Fun With Literature. A reading list has been drawn up by the tutor and this will be sent out to students when they enrol. A selection of novels and poetry will be studied. Successful students will: Develop analytical skills when reading, Explore the characters and events in novels, Present and discuss their findings. The course is for anyone who enjoys literature. There are no entry requirements but an expectation that all students will read widely, form opinions and participate in discussions and debates.

Please ask our staff for the booklist prior to the course starting but do not purchase anything prior to the first session. Your tutor will advise you. There will be a requirement to purchase some paperback books. No expensive editions will be used. In some instances this group will be able to borrow certain books from the Library.
