This Assertiveness course in Folkestone will suit anyone who feels they would like to become more assertive and more confident in their personal/social/work life. The approach has a gentle gradient so that the timid, apprehensive or faint-hearted individual will find it useful and enjoyable. During the course, we will seek to discover what needs to change in each individual to move forward, how to accomplish this and to set realistic goals. Students will find the group is mutually supportive and fun! Assertiveness has nothing to do with aggression so no one needs to fear being asked to do anything they feel uncomfortable with. By the end of the course students should be able to: Identify situations where they feel they are under-confident and find being assertive difficult. - Be aware of how change might be possible. - Fix realistic goals. - Achieve a more positive attitude to previously difficult situations. This day course in Folkestone is for anyone who genuinely wants to change and is interested in ways to do so.
