This Mixed Media - Improvers course in Sevenoaks provides an opportunity for you to continue to learn, about mixed media and apply and extend the skills and techniques learned on a Beginners course. There is a structured but relaxed learning plan which will identify your individual needs to help you reach your goals as you continue to practise and develop skills, working from observation and imagination including keeping a sketchbook and applying the formal elements of art and design. Our tutors are qualified and experienced and most are practising artists. Students who have completed the beginners Mixed Media course or have some experience.It is important to note that art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity for you to participate fully and get the most out of the course.

Entry requirements

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. However, all students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, preferably with a hard cover and ring bound and a variety of pencils.You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. Some of our centres have their own 'shops' where you are able to buy things at competitive prices.If you have any materials/equipment that might be appropriate please bring them with you.
