Acrylic Painting

This course covers painting techniques using acrylic paints. You will learn about colour mixing and a variety of methods to apply the paint, both diluted and straight from the tube, such as layering, glazing, scumbling, sgraffito, etc. There will be a variety of subject matter throughout the course. By the end of the course, you should be able to: Be aware of and work to relevant Health and Safety guidelines, Demonstrate and understand relevant techniques . Demonstrate successful use of relevant tools, equipment and resources, Use appropriate methods to collect ideas, research and experimentation, Successfully review and evaluate your own work, Research and evaluate the work of others to inform your own work and development, There is no set 'homework', but you are welcome to practise and do further work at home. There is no qualification for this course. Students with all levels of experience who would like to explore using acrylic paints. Beginners welcome.
